An aluminium or steel column designed to be operational in a wide range of geographical locations. It is available with single or double doors for added security. Hinged column approved for Network Rail use available.
Made with Nickel-Metal-Hydride technology, the battery is an environmentally friendly solution with no Lead, Mercury or Cadmium. It has a wide operating range from –20° to +70°C, the unit is 240Whrs 24V, with temperature monitoring, and can be mounted at the base of the column or at the top.
The controller is the latest configuration of battery management and LED driver technology, programmable to suit the specific location. The customer can configure a wide range of features from the Lighting Regime, Battery Monitoring, Lighting Level, and PIR Control. This highly advanced controller, monitors the energy harvested daily, and balances this against the battery power and demand for lighting to ensure the lighting is maintained during periods of low sun or high demand.
